How I Work

In-Person Counselling

A Calm Space To Breathe

Sessions take place at The Manse in Banbury, a calm, private room designed to feel welcoming from the moment you walk in. There are two comfortable chairs, warm lighting, and everything you need to feel at ease. It’s a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and say the things you haven’t quite been able to say elsewhere.

In-person sessions suit people who find it easier to connect face to face, or who value having a dedicated space that is completely separate from the rest of their life, somewhere that is just for them.

Online Counselling

Therapy that meets you where you are

Online sessions are available to anyone across the UK, via a secure video platform from the comfort of your own space. All you need is somewhere private and a reliable internet connection.

Online therapy suits people who prefer the flexibility of connecting from home, who find travelling difficult, or who simply feel more able to open up when they’re in their own environment. Many people are surprised by how present and connected an online session can feel.

Sessions are the same length and held to exactly the same standard as in-person work; the only difference is where you are.

In-Person Counselling

How It Works

Private counselling room in Banbury and Culworth for in-person therapy sessions in Banbury and Oxfordshire

1. Initial Consultation

Your first counselling session in Banbury is a collaborative journey. We’ll focus on exploring what you hope to gain from counselling, discussing our therapeutic contract, and answering a few detailed questions. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other and start building a therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll create a plan tailored to your unique needs.
